How to Block Ads in Yahoo Mail on Firefox, Chrome, or IE?

To block Yahoo ads on Chrome, follow these simple steps:

  1. Go to the Chrome browser and click on the box with three horizontal lines given at the top of the Chrome.
  2. Then click on Settings and click on extensions given at the left panel.
  3. Move down and click ‘Get more extensions’.
  4. In the search box, type ‘yahoo mail ads’ and then click ‘Enter’.
  5. Under ‘Extensions’, you will see three results including ‘Webmail ad blocker’.
  6. Now press a +free button to add the extension to your chrome.
  7. When asked you have to click on the ‘Add’ button.

To block Yahoo ads for Internet Explorer, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Ad-block Plus Website and click on the ‘Install for Internet Explorer’ option.
  2. Click on the ‘Run’ option given at the bottom of the page.
  3. After the installation is finished, restart the internet explorer.
  4. Next, click on the ‘Enable’ option given at the bottom to turn on Ad-block plus.
  5. After this restart Yahoo and as the Ad-block plus is running you can see that all of the Ads are hidden now.
